About
I'm Pratik Kesapure, a Computer Engineer with a degree in Computer Engineering and a habit of turning "how does this actually work" into side projects. My day job is at Yardi, where I work as a Computer Engineer on real-world software problems.
Outside of work, I'm building Sangava, also known as ChatZone — a real-time messaging platform I've been designing and developing from the ground up, from the data model to the moment a message lands on someone else's screen.
I care about clean architecture, systems that don't fall over under load, and writing code that the next engineer (often future-me) won't curse at.

- Working as a Computer Engineer, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of software used across Yardi's product ecosystem.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build reliable, scalable features and troubleshoot issues across the stack.
- Applying core computer engineering fundamentals — data structures, databases, and system design — to everyday engineering problems.
● SIDE PROJECT
- Designing and building a real-time chat application end-to-end — from architecture to UI — outside of regular work hours.
- Owning the full lifecycle: product decisions, backend logic, and the experience of sending and receiving a message instantly.
Featured Project
Sangava is a real-time chat platform built to make conversations feel instant — one-to-one messaging, group chats, and a clean interface designed to get out of the way of the conversation. It's an ongoing build where I'm the sole engineer behind the product, architecture, and code.
